Dormer Loft Conversion - Cabul Road

Our clients in Battersea wanted to better utilise the space in their Victorian terraced, first floor flat by increasing the size of top floor bedroom and adding another bathroom. We designed a dormer loft conversion to the rear that doubled the size of the bedroom on the top floor and added a spacious shower room. We also renovated the other bedroom, family bathroom and the living room to create a stylish and comfortable home for our clients. We worked with our clients from the design phase through to completion, managing all aspects of the design and build from building control, engineering detailing, through project management ensuring that we delivered a finished project to the highest standard.

In the design phase we helped our clients to visualise their new space and interpret their requirements to deliver a space that maximises efficiency and didn’t compromise on style. There were some beautiful existing features in this property that only needed to be made more apparent including beautiful built-in cabinets in the living room, built -n wardrobes in the bedroom and a beautiful staircase on the first floor that only required some renovation to allow for the decoration. To the top floor we added a large roof light to hallway, which floods the top floor landing and stairwell with light. We renovated the large family bathroom and added a luxurious shower room to the loft space. For the bedroom we extended it out with a dormer conversion which allowed for the addition of a Juliet balcony and French doors to the rear. To the front, the Velux windows flood the room with light and in the slope, we added some eaves storage. The time frame for this project was 7 weeks and we delivered a high-quality project finished to the highest standard.
